Grange Camera Club
We have a Camera Club every Thursday after school. We are being taught all about digital photography by Mr Collins, who is Chief Photographer at the Hartlepool Mail.
He is teaching us the skills and techniques used in photography. There is lots of new vocabulary to learn, such as:- thumbnail, focus, mode, red-eye, landscape and lots more.
New groups of children are now working with Mr Collins, learning the techniques of photography. Below are some photographs taken by this years camera club groups.
We begin by looking at the cameras to understand how they work, along with the different kinds of photographs that can be taken. We take portrait, group, action, and landscape shots. Have a look at out efforts below!

Here one of the crew demonstrates the flares. Flares have two purposes, to attract attention over a long distance and to
pinpoint the vessel in trouble. |
