Miss Brackstone- Class 8
Hello we are all in class 8. We have 23 children in our class. We have a mixed year 1 and 2 class.
We learn lots of different things in our class everyday. Some of our favourite lessons are Numeracy, Art, Design and Technology and P.E.
In History we are learning about famous people. Florence Nightingale is famous because she helped the soldiers that had been injured in the war. I wonder if anyone in our class will be famous when they are older!
In Literacy we have been reading traditional stories. One favourite story is Cinderella. We have changed the story of Cinderella from the traditional story that everyone knows. In our stories Cinderella is a villain and her good stepsister marries the prince.
In Design and Technology we have been designing and making moving vehicles. At the moment we are designing and making puppets from traditional stories so that we can use our puppets to help to tell the stories.
