Welcome to our Nursery page.

This term we are covering the topic of

transport.

"This is my grandad's car"

We are making lots of different models in our craft area.

Our parents and carers have been collecting and recycling junk materials for us.

We have been very busy making rockets.

It's hard work making rockets, you have to concentrate.

"I want my rocket to have a pointy top"

"I hope this sticks"

Wow! what a fabulous rocket

"I've made a tall rocket in the maths area".

A great big welcome to all of our new pupils

We had lots of new pupils this term. They are all settled into our nursery now and they can wave goodbye their mums and dads, without getting upset.

We celebrated the Chinese New Year this term.

"I' ll takes all the orders, what would you like to choose from the menu?"

An order by phone. "What would you like?"

We did lots of other activities too, here are some boys practising their Chinese writing.

We made a fabulous Chinese dragon

We made Chinese hats and lanterns.

I like your Chinese hat.

We made Chinese food, noodles, rice, curry and stir fry.

What a big pan of noodles, who is going to eat all that?

"I will"

We made curry and rice too, hope it's not too hot!

"It's very hot"

"It's just right"

It took a lot of stirring to make the curry sauce.

Then out of the blue, it snowed. Everyone outside. We put our waterproof coats and trousers on.

We tried to catch snowflakes.

"I've caught two".

"It's freezing out here" said a cold person "and this coat is too big"

We made pancakes too, we had to whisk the mixture.

Then we tossed the pancakes.

We divided the pancake up into pieces, we had to cut it very carefully.

"Yum Yum"

"I've got four pieces"

Can he catch the pancake?,  yes! thank goodness!

We had a visit from the dentist too!

She brought along a puppet that had big teeth.

We made a beautiful new office area. It's a very busy office today.

 

We can sort through all the mail.

We had lots of stories too, all about transport, China, the snow and pancakes. We learnt lots of new songs too, we had a very busy term.
