Parents- What you can do to help at home

Reading at home

It is very important that children read at home as this means that they will be more confident when reading and hopefully make more progress. Reading is an essential life skill and parental involvement is appreciated. We would encourage you to read with your child at least three times a week.

In school we ask children questions to see if they have understood what they have read. Please find below the response sheets that we use. Your child should know which one to use but if they don't, please come and see me.
