Our School Reporters visit the BBC
Our school reporters went to the BBC Broadcasting Centre in Newcastle to take a look at how the 'professionals' present and broadcast programs.

We begin by going into the studio and having a look at the 'set'. This is of course much bigger than our schools studio, very interesting to see how it is laid out and how everything works behind the scenes. |

Here are the children 'having a go' at presenting the weather themselves, including our Headteacher too. I think we might have some potential future presenters on our hands. You never know you might see them on T.V. a few years from now! |

We also went into the BBC Radio Station Studio too. We met Jonathan Miles who presents BBC Radio Newcastle's mid morning show. There is lots of equipment and lots more buttons to press. Can you see all the controls in the picture, wouldn't want to press the wrong ones!! |

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would like to thank all of the staff at the BBC for inviting us along, everyone was really friendly and we came away with some presenting tips which will hopefully help us improve how we do our programs in school.
