European Day Of Languages

Each class chose foods from different countries to try out and taste.

Here are some photo's from the day, there was quite a variety of different things.

France

Class 7 chose Spanish food for their tasting session and the class enjoyed eating it
 
Class 1 made a Greek Salad, here it is being prepared and some pupils tasting the end result.
The children in Reception made pizza's which come from Italy, they also had an Italian flag up in their classroom too
 
These children are also wearing their Swedish flag hats, they certainly look like they are enjoying themselves.

 

 

Class 2 chose foods from Sweden to try, they had crackers and lingoberry jam! They also had ginger biscuits, dill crisps and Swedish meatballs.

Foods from Spain were the choice for classes 7 and 9
Classes 6 and 10 tested a variety of French foods.

The children had a really good time trying all the different foods, there was such a wide variety to choose from, maybe you could try some at home too!
