Peter Pan is a boy who never grows up. He meets some ordinary children and takes them on adventures wearing their nightclothes. In the story there are problems with pirates (particularly Captain Hook) and Indians. Peter Pan also had a bad tempered fairy Tinkerbell. |
Did you know that Alice in Wonderland was written by Lewis Carroll, he made up stories to entertain his family of 11 brothers and sisters!! His father was a vicar from Croft and much of the story is said to have been set around the church and vicarage. |
We are reading The Witches by Roald Dahl. The witches in Roald Dahl's story usually dress in everyday clothes. Do you know what to look for to spot a witch? One of the things to watch for, is if a woman scratches her head a lot, because all witches are bald and wear wigs which make their heads itch like mad. |

Key Stage 2 Each class chose a book and dressed up as the characters from that book. Everyone made a real effort and they all looked fantastic! |
