![]() |
We went on a field trip to Teesmouth Visitors Centre to look at habitats and how the sand dunes develop. Then onto the beach at the Blue Lagoon to look at what creatures live on the beach and in the dunes. There are lots of other activities listed on the notice board, seal and bird watching are just two of them. |

Y6 are doing a project on what facilities there are at Seaton Carew. We are looking at the different kinds of buildings and shops that are situated on the main street. We carried out a survey to see what condition the buildings are in and gave them a star rating. As you can see there are quite a lot of eating places, take-away's and other shops. |

There are quite a few hotels, bed and breakfast and guest houses along the front too. One large hotel has had some new buildings added to the rear, do you think they match the older part of the building? |

Some of the buildings are closed and run down, the clock tower is undergoing a transformation so it's closed at the moment, hopefully it will look much nicer when its finished. |

There are also some residential houses along the front, mixed in among the shops, there are quite a lot of victorian properties, but also some new buildings. Do you think they fit in with the older properties? |
