TV Project with Rossmere, Greatham and Grange Primary Schools

The children from Rossmere and Greatham Schools have been coming into Grange to work on a TV project with Mrs Walker, they have learnt how to plan a TV programme, collecting information and ideas on what they would like in their news programme.

They are learning how to use the cameras, sound deck, mixing deck and editing software.

They are currently working on a project about the facilities in Hartlepool.

The Children have been out and about, filming places such as the Historic Quay, Leisure and Sports Centres in the town.

The children from Greatham Primary School went to see the crew of the RNLI. They went aboard the lifeboat and did some recording from the deck. They asked the crew what happens when they are called out and looked at the facilities onboard.

The Children from Rossmere Primary School visited the local Fire Station. They were shown around and learnt what happens when the Fire Brigade get a emergency call.
