Welcome to Y3! You have entered Key Stage 2!
Homework
Homework is given out every Tuesday for the children who wish to complete extra work. The main focus of homework is spending time reading.
P.E.
P.E. is on Tuesday afternoons but please have your P.E. kit in school just in case we have an extra lesson!
Reading
Please try to read every night for about 20 minutes to build up your reading strength (stamina) and speed (Fluency). Don't forget to ask an adult at home or your teacher if there are any words you don't understand.
Parents and Carers
If any parent or carer has any questions or concerns Mrs Steele and Mrs Connor are always available to talk at the end of the school day. At the beginning of the day we are with our classes but if it is vital to speak to us straight away please ask at the door.
Children
If any children have any questions or concerns please talk to Mrs Connor or Mrs Steele about them. We also have a worry monster in each class who loves to eat your worries.
