Why do leaves go crispy?

Caterpillars had a fantastic day at Ward Jackson Park as part of  our topic book 'Percy The Park Keeper'. We went on a woodland walk, collected fallen leaves and fir cones then fed some very hungry ducks and geese . After that we had a well deserved ice lolly break in the café before having some time on the play area.

Caterpillars have had a very busy first term. As part of our topic about people who love and helps us, we enjoyed a visit to Stranton Fire Station. We even got to sit in the fire engine and spray the hose!

Half Term 1
