Our class novel this term is Street Child, by Berlie Doherty.
It is set during the Victorian era and is the story of Jim Jarvis, an orphan who escapes from a workhouse and ends up in Dr Thomas Barnado's Ragged School.
We will be working on writing more developed answers to inference questions and continuing to develop our comprehension skills.
