Writing Assessment Grids
At Grange, we use Year group assessment grids to assess progress in writing throughout the year. Each half term we identify every child's strengths and next steps to monitor progress and ensure that pupils can remain 'on track' from their starting point.
We use end of Key Stage assessment grids for Year 6 (Key Stage 2) and Year 2 (Key Stage 1) following completion of each respective curriculum to judge if a pupil is working at the expected standard.
