HT2
Year 6 Half-term 2
This half-term, Year 6 will be covering lots of interesting topics. In reading, we will be studying Great Expectations and A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. We will be doing lots of work on our grammar and spelling, and writing a narrative based on the short video 'Alma'. In maths, we will be moving on to learning about the four operations and completing lots of arithmetic, reasoning and problem-solving. In history, we will be learning all about the Ancient Maya society. We are looking forward to continuing with our science topic, light. We will also be developing our ensemble skills in music, learning all about festivals in French, and focusing on 'dance' in P.E. Please take a look at some of our brilliant work below.
