Term 2

This term our topic is  DId Dragons Exist? We’re looking forward to learning all about Dragons, castles, Knights and Princesses.

 

Our author of the term is Michael Rosen.  We will be reading and retelling the story of We’re Going On A Bear Hunt! We will also be listening to his poem Chocolate Cake! 

Tuesday 20th March 2018

Today we visited Washington wetlands. We went on a mini beast hunt and pond dipping. We had a walk around the lovely site and got to feed the ducks and geese. The otters came out to see us and we saw the flamingoes. A day full of fresh air and beautiful nature 🐜🐚🦆 . The sun came out too! Could this be the start of spring? ☀️🌷

We had a visit from Madame Dragon to teach us how to become Dragon's at her Dragon school.  We learnt how to roar, fly and save a princess!

Chinese New Year celebrations

We learnt it is the year of the Dog. We found out that some children were born the year of the dragon and others were born in the year of the snake 🐉🐍
