Term 1
This term our topic is Tremors.
We have been learning about rocks, rivers and volcanoes.
As part of our topic work we have conducted science experiments investigating the properties of rocks, learnt about where the major rivers in the UK are, and we have looked at how volcanoes are formed - we even had the chance to watch a volcano erupt outside in the yard!
As part of the topic we had the chance to visit Tynemouth Field Centre, where we looked at a working river and had the opportunity to explore the different rock types which we can find on our local beaches.
