Term 2
A Child's War
This term our topic is based on WW2.
As part of our English lessons, we will be writing a biography for a figure involved in WW2.
Our focus in maths is fractions and we are also looking at shape and space, including coordinates, reflection and translation.In art, we will be using acrylic paints to create a portrait of a famous figure (such as Winston Churchill) from the time. In science, we will be looking at the topics of 'Light' and 'Electricity'.

Y6 Girls STEM Event
Some of the girls from Y6 were invited to the EDF Hartlepool Power Station for a tour and some exciting STEM activities.
