Nursery Rhymes

In Reception, we sing a wide range of nursery rhymes throughout the school day.

 

We sing nursery rhymes as we believe they help our children's development in several areas including: language and communication, creative expression, physical development, maths,  confidence and independence and knowledge and understanding of the world.

This half term we took part in World Nursery Rhyme Week 2023 to celebrate our love of nursery rhymes.

 

 

Nursery and Reception went to the hall and performed nursery rhymes we have learned for each other.
