HT1

Welcome to Year 6

 

In Half Term 1 we will be covering lots of interesting topics. In Maths we will be looking at place value of number to 10,000,000 and the four operations including fractions. In English and Reading  we will be reading Holes and writing informal letters as well as character descriptions and short stories. Closer to Christmas we will be reading A Christmas Carol and completing a recount as well as a biography. In Science this term we will be investigating Light and in Geography we will be exploring the water cycle.  In PE we will be learning how to play tag rugby as well as swimming.
