In Autumn 2, we have been reading some fantastic books! In guided reading, we have read and discussed The Ancient Egypt Sleepover by Stephen Davies and Amazing Grace by Mary Hoffman. As well as this, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has been our class novel and we have wrote a diary entry in English based off the picture book My Name is Not Refugee by Kate Milner.
In History we were learning all about the Ancient Egyptians and practiced writing our own names in hieroglyphs.
We have been working really hard on self-editing our own writing and we have practiced using thesaurus's to find synonyms. We now use them all the time!
