More and more people are taking their gaming to the next level and are playing games online. This can provide gamers with extra challenge and competition.

To help your child stay safe whilst gaming you could:

  • Ensure that your child uses a nickname as their username.
  • Ensure that your child does not give out personal information.
  • Remember - it is only a game and it is not all about the winning.
  • Ensure that your child knows what to do if they hear or see something inappropriate. This could include reporting the individual or talking to an adult to get help.
