R.E. and PSHCE
Overview
In R.E., we compared the creation stories of different faiths, including Christianity and Islam. In half term 4, we will be celebrating the Easter story and what it means to Christians.
At the beginning of the year, the children set themselves new year goals. We discussed how to achieve these and who could help them. Some of our PSHCE work was based around developing respect and self-belief (our school values for half term 3 and 4 respectively) and the children have shared characteristics that they are proud of and that they admire in others. The school nurse visited and delivered a talk about puberty to the children as part of our 'Changes' and 'Sex and Relationship Education' PSHCE lessons.
