Term 3
This term we are excited to start our new topic Enchanted Woodland. As part of this topic, we are going on a special forest school trip to build some dens and find out what animals live in the woods.
We are going to be learning all about plants and the seasons and we are looking forward to planning our science experiment and growing our own cress. We will also be learning all about how plants grow and the names of different parts of a flower.
In English, we are focusing on Traditional Tales and are excited to read some well known stories such as Little Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children will have the opportunity to do some descriptive writing and create their own stories using their creative imaginations!
In maths we will be carrying out lots of practical tasks to investigate measure, height, weight and capacity. We will also be working on multiplication and division.
