Happy New Term
Welcome to our new school year from all at Caterpillars and to all our new starters. We have lots of exciting things planned which we are sure you, your child and family will enjoy.
This Half term our topic is can we explore it? We will be using all of our senses to explore, taste, touch, feel and smell. We are focussing on the story of the Gruffalo which will include a visit to a local park in search of the Gruffalo and his friends! Gruffalo Craft Event
Many thanks to all the Parents and carers who attended our Gruffalo craft event. It was a lovely end to a busy half term!
Visit To Ward Jackson Park
Caterpillars had a lovely time at Ward Jackson Park. We travelled in a big yellow bus, which was exciting, then we took a woodland walk and collected lots of leaves for nursery. We fed the ducks and geese before having a delicious cup cake in the café with the Gruffalo! We even had time to explore the playground.
Fine Motor Skills Parent Event
A big thank you to all the parents and carers who attended our early writing/fine motor event. We hope you had fun and came away with lots of activities you can use at home.
To celebrate Our Queen being the longest serving British monarch we dressed up in red, white and blue, made flags and crowns then had a special party with Nursery. Take a look!
