In Maths, the children have been working together to create models of different 3D shapes to help them count the number of faces, edges and vertices.
The children worked together to practice their fluent reading of our new story “Pumpkin Soup”
In maths we were adding 2 two digit numbers crossing 10. We worked together and used our base 10 to support our learning.
The children were not allowed to use pens all day on Thursday 29th November. This allowed them to focus on their orracy skills. They had lots of discussion and they completed tasks practically rather than in books. The day was throughly enjoyed by all.
The children enjoyed their community walk looking for human and physical features. Despite the weather the children were able to discuss and take pictures of what they had found 🤗❄️
The children have enjoyed making Christingles and discussing what each part represented! This was part of our RE topic.
In science the children worked together to create Owl Boxes using their knowledge of materials. They thought about what could be used to make the box waterproof, sturdy and soft for the owls.
