Phonics
Weeks 1-3
We will be recapping the graphemes and tricky words below.
Week 4
This week we will add a second phonics lesson into our timetable to support the children with blending.

Weeks 5-7
During our morning phonics lesson, some children will be reviewing autumn 1 sounds and tricky words. We need to secure the majority of these sounds before moving on.
Your child's teacher will have sent home a grapheme mat (like the example below) showing their progress and which sounds your child needs to work on. This sheet is also on their Class Dojo portfolio.
Some children will be moving onto autumn 2. The sounds and tricky words they will be learning are below.
Put, pull, full, push will not be taught as tricky words.
We will continue with our second blending lesson in the afternoon and our reading groups three times per week.
