Important Information

Welcome to Year 3! 

Year 3 is a very busy year.

Currently we do PE once a week -  our regular weekly PE lessons are on Wednesdays. Please make sure that your child has the correct kit with them in school. 

Children in Year 3 are able to participate in a range of after school activities.

PE club for Year 3 is on Wednesdays, Drama is on Mondays and GPTV is on Thursdays. If your child would like to join any of these clubs please speak to their class teacher. 

Homework is given out on Tuesdays and is due in on Fridays. 

Parents - What you can do to help at home

Please make sure you read with your child every night. Each time you read with your child this should be recorded in the yellow reading record they bring home with them. Your child must bring their reading book into school everyday. 

In year 3 we have given the children a range of optional homework to complete over the course of the term. These are meant to be fun and engaging mini-projects around our topic 'Predator' which can be completed with an adult. 

Please help to support your child's maths and english work by practicing their times tables and spellings with them at home.
