Parents / Carers - What you can do to help at home

How you can help - Reading

It is important that your child reads at home as frequently as possible. Please ensure that your child reads at home at least four times per week.If your child would prefer to read at school, they are welcome to read at lunch time or play time if they would prefer.

How you can help - Maths

We encourage the children in Y6 to practise their multiplication tables and the associated division facts as much as possible so they can recall them quickly and accurately. If you can help your child to practise these facts, it would be much appreciated.

If your child would like to practise anything else related to their maths lessons, please ask your child's teacher for extra homework.
