HT1

We've had a great first few weeks in Year 5 settling in to our new class and classroom.  We've started the Place Value topic in Maths - No Problem and begun writing character descriptions of the Ancient Greek gods in English.  Our guided reading book is Who Let the Gods Out and our whole class novel is Percy Jackson - The Lightening Thief.  In PE, we have practiced our passing and running with the ball in tag rugby.  We have started our DT topic of designing a cushion with Mrs Cooper and have also been researching life in Ancient Greece.  Busy times, but that's how we like it!

 

Don't forget that it is our 'Meet the teacher' event on Tuesday 24th September at 2:45pm.  Please head towards the Y5 classroom through the KS2 gates.
