Vocabulary, Grammar and Punctuation
At Grange, Vocabulary, grammar and punctuation is taught explicitly 1x per week and then recapped and revisited within the teaching of English lessons as needed. This is in order to make the purpose and relevance of: a specific word(s), piece of punctuation or grammatical term clear. These elements are explored in writing lessons (as appropriate) through identifying them in texts and through practise before applying in their own writing.
