Tunnels, Towers and Turrets
As part of our topic this half term we will be learning about castles, knights, ladies, lords and significant individuals from our past like Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth 1.
We took a trip to Durham Castle where we dressed up as Lords and Ladies, searched for shields, build our own castle walls and then tried to knock them down!

We have done lots of fantastic learning about Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth and we even chose our favourite !

Children in need!
We had a fabulous day for Children in need. We helped our school to raise money by baking and buying cakes and coming into school in something spotty.
Our Year 2 parent event.
We did all our of Design and Technology work this half term with our parents to help us! We used design criteria to produce detailed drawings to plan our vehicles. We then made our vehicles with wheels and axles!
