Nursery Rhymes

With the above knowledge in mind, we have devised a core set of nursery rhymes that children should know by the end of Reception.

1 Baa Baa Black Sheep                   5 Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

2 Incy Wincy Spider                         6 5 Currant Buns

3 Humpty Dumpty                           7 5 Little Ducks Went Swimming One Day

4 Miss Polly                                       8 1,2,3,4,5 Once I Caught a Fish Alive

In school, we sing a wide range of nursery rhymes on a morning, before dinner time and at the end of the day. We also weave nursery rhymes into the day when the children are playing.
