HT2
Community Project- Christchurch Art Gallery
In HT1 we completed our mixed media beach-inspired canvas using materials found on Headland beach. They were then installed in Christchurch Art Gallery and we held our own art exhibition. We loved seeing our completed masterpieces on display for the public to see!
Science- Everyday Materials
In HT2 we continued to explore everyday materials and their properties. Once we had conducted experiments to test whether each materials was rough, soft, flexible, rigid etc we then used our knowledge to design an Owl box for an owl to live inside. We then worked as a team to create them, making sure they were waterproof and strong enough to hold a 30kg owl inside.
