Science
This half term we planted our own sunflowers. Once planted we set up a comparative test to test what plants need in order to survive. Each week we also recorded a seed diary to observe the changes in our plants.
History
In History we learnt about two different explorer; Sir Tim Peake and Captain James Cook. We created timelines for both explorers and learnt about the different things they discovered. We were lucky enough to borrow a loan box from the James Cook Birthplace Museum which contained lots of artefacts that Captain Cook discovered.
Art
This half term we looked at Vincent Van Gough's famous Sunflower painting and used it as inspiration to create out own.
