Welcome to 2024

People who help us

This half term we will be exploring the topic of 'People who help us'. This begins at home with the help of our families and friends and a visit to Make believe with lots of pretend play.

There will be lots of dressing up as we became doctors, firefighters, builders to name a few. We  will also celebrated Chinese New Year, pancake Tuesday and Valentine's day too. A very busy time ahead!

We tried different toppings alongside our friends and made our own pretend pancakes too 😊

 Trip to Make Believe

Our visit to Make Believe. The children and the adults had a marvellous time exploring all the different pretend play areas , take a look!

Fun on the Farm!

Fun on the farm this week with lots of pretend play with our puppet theatre . The children tried hard to wait their turn and watch their friends. 

At the Supermarket

We have been working hard at the supermarket. Lot's of sharing and turn taking. We even made our own biscuits to sell at snack time!

At the hospital

This week in Caterpillars we have been helping our dolls, teddies and monkeys get better. We made ambulances and enjoyed lots of messy play with the emergency vehicles in the paint 🚑

My Family

This week we looked at how our families take care of us. We made special portrait pictures, played with the doll’s house and we bathed, fed and clothed our dolls before putting them to bed.
