Number Sense: Number Fluency

Fluency in number facts is key to developing a secure understanding of maths. The Number Sense Maths Programme is taught in EYFS, KS1 and Y3 through short, discrete sessions. Early Years Number Sense is taught in Reception and Number Facts Fluency is taught in Years 1-3. Both strands of the programme focus on essential addition and subtraction facts and strategies, helping children build strong number relationships and develop confidence and fluency.
