Library Books
The children visit the school library on a Friday to choose their sharing book.
Please keep this book in your child's book bag in between reads. We will collect it in on a Friday so that your child can choose their new sharing book from the library.
We do not expect your child to be able to read this book on their own. Read it to or with them at a time that works for your family. Discuss the pictures, enjoy the story, predict what happens next, use different voices for the characters, point out the parts of a non-fiction book...The main thing is to have fun when reading and to talk with your child about books.
